'Nirbhaya'- the name given to that 23yr old who was gang raped and tortured in a way that is far beyond anyone's imagination. This young woman was a fighter in true sense. Despite having her vital organs failed she showed determination to get back. She wanted to live. She wanted to walk again.
As the year ends, I can hardly think of anything else than that young woman's horrifying experience!
Although, it is impossible to reflect what she must have felt. Here is my sincere attempt in bringing to you a tale of the fearless: Nirbhaya.
PS: This is my version of what Nirbhaya must have felt. My first blog post of the year is dedicated to this faceless girl who's pain has touched millions of heart's including mine.
Hi Neha,
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Nirbhaya did not die in vain, sometimes people need a push and a shove to be awakened from the slumber and complacency. Maybe this is the push that was needed by Indians to move forward in the right direction.
Lovely poem. Keep it up :)
Happy New Year to you :)

Jay
